I’m looking for people to share the service with.
Only interested in visiting Hai Van pass, Lady Buddha and Ba Na Hills.
Anyone interested?
Leaving tomorrow Friday the 29.

We want to book a car on 14th January from Hoi An to Hue. We are two persons coming from India. If we want to go to Tang Chon cave
(which is in the Marble mountain area). is it possible to cover it in our trip? Can you guide us in this regard? Also, we would like to go to Linh Ung Pagoda. If we leave Hoi An at 1 p.m., what time we can reach Hue? Please guide us how much time we can spend in Marble Mountain. Thanks.

How much time do we have to visit each location?
If we spend 2h at Marble Mountains, will we have time to make more stops or is it the total time of the journey limited?
Best regards

Susie Cysewski

Aloha, We are interested in traveling from Hoi An to Hue on Sept. 23, 2018. It is for 2 people. At this this time we are not sure if we want any extra sites that are not part of the regular itinerary. Do you have availability that day?

Hi, I am thinking of booking the basic service trip (with stops) for myself and my partner from Hoi An to Hue. We would like to pay cash on arrival. My questions are: 1) We are not sure if we would like to depart on 22 September or the 23 September 2018. How flexible is this and how much notice would you need to change days? If we would like to change the date after booking, how would we do so? 2) We have also not decided if we would like to include the Elephant springs or the My son… Read more »

We made the tour trip with Mr Bi from Hoi An to Hue. He was really nice and the ride was very comfortable. We highly recommend to take a tour and stops to visit the Marble Mountains and eat seafood on the way!

Nick was an awesome driver and gave us tons of information about the places we visited and about Vietnam in general.

He’s great company and very knowledgable.

Hue private cars gave us the most fair price by far for our trip which included going to An Bang – city of ghosts. Other quotes were double the price! Their communication prior to the trip was excellent

Couldn’t recommend the company and Nick more.

Would like to hire car (4 seater) on 28th March to go from Hoi An to Hue. would also like to Elephant Springs.
I am staying in Hotel Hoi An Silk Marina Resort & Spa. please confirm booking and payment method.

“Excellent customer service” Booked the scenic tour from Hoi An to Hue. Driver turned up on time but took us straight to Hue with no tour. The driver did not speak English so trying to discuss was impossible. On arrival in Hue we were not happy and contacted the agency to complain with low expectations as we had to pay the driver. Without hesitation the company immediately apologised and offered a refund of half the cost. Not only that they came to our hotel to give us the money. Anyone involved in business knows that sometimes things go wrong. The… Read more »

As expressed in other reviews excellent service was provided. The car was in good condition and clean with wifi. Our driver Loc was friendly and informative with good enough English. He went out of his way to meet our requirements. His driving was careful. Starting from Danang we first headed south to Marble Mountain – touristy but nice temples and caves. Lots of walking up high steps. We took the Pass route to Hue. Pleasant drive but not spectacular although the poor weather detracted from it. Loc took us to a very nice seafood restaurant on a lagoon for lunch… Read more »

Henry first picked us up from Da Nang airport and brought us to our hotel in Hue. He was very informative and gave us lots of travel tips for our time in Hue and more importantly he was a safe/great driver! After 3 days in Hue we wanted to head across to Hoi an. We chose to take a private car instead of easy rider and of course we requested to have Henry again! Henry picked us up on time and took us to all of the sights along the way as well as stopping in the best spots for… Read more »

My girlfriends and I from Sydney, Australia booked a one way tour from Da Nang to Hue on the 31st of December 2016. We were greeted by driver Sam (or Hoang Vu in Vietnamese) who was such a delightful young man and made our trip very enjoyable. I would highly recommend that anyone reading this review planning to book a driver for their trip to request for him! We were very surprised by his well spoken English and accent, not only that but his knowledge on the history of Vietnam which made us feel as if we were on a… Read more »

We hired a private car from Da Nang to Hue accompanied by our driver Hoang Vu.
He is a young friendly man who spoke fluent English and could pass as a tour guide. We learnt a lot about Hue and the rich history of Vietnam. He took us to the best eateries in Hue and we also appreciated how accommodating he was by providing water, taking our photos and leaving us touched by his stories.
Hoang truly made our experience amazing. Thank you so much and no doubt we will meet again!

We used Hue Private Cars to travel from Hoi An to Hue. The car arrived on time and was new and clean (bonus: with wifi!). Our driver, Thomas, was particularly good. Such a nice person and genuinely interested in making sure we were happy every step of the way. Unfortunately the weather was miserable (pouring rain) which put a damper on the sights along the way, but we made the best of it. Thomas is worth requesting. Thank you – would definitely use again.

We booked a car to take us from the hotel in Hue to the airport in Da Nang. The driver arrived on time and spoke sufficient English. The car was fine. Our driver was Loc and he was a safe driver – never felt unsafe. We took the mountain road – very nice – and made a stop at the marble shop and at My Khe beach enroute plus he helped us find a good spot to eat and helped us find good souvenirs – genuine and not fakes. Bottom line – the price was very fair. the service was… Read more »

We booked a transport from Hoi An to Hue at $69. Sam was conversant in English. It was pleasant talking to him. He brought us safely to see the marble mountain, the old US bunkers at Hai Van Pass and Lang Co beach. Despite the fog and rain, Sam was steady and positive. Along the way, he talked abt the different places as well.

We recently did a 1 and a half day tour with Hue Private Cars (VM Travel). Prior to our trip email communication was prompt and clear. The first day we had a driver from Hoi An to Hue. Loc was awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and provided us with interesting information as we stopped at various sites. Not only was he a safe and efficient driver, but he really added to our experience with his extra information, enthusiasm, and humor. On the second day we went from Hue to Danang airport, and we had another driver. He… Read more »

We booked a private car tour from Da Nang airport to hotel in Hue online. Sam Le, a very professional driver welcomed us at the airport. Sam is very friendly and took us to buy the SIM card and did the currency exchange before the drive. Sam speaks very good English and drives safely and gave us a very comfortable drive directly to our hotel. During the drive, he gave us a lot of information we need and also showed us places that we could go for meals. I definitely will recommend Hue Private Cars and Sam Le as the… Read more »

What a beautiful way to travel from Hoi An to Hue! Our driver, Nick was friendly, funny, and very informative. He ensured we were perfectly comfortable on the ride and allowed us to take our time sight seeing on our stops along the way. We saw how the marble statues are made, hiked through Water Mountain, and drove around another mountain on the country side of Hue. Before heading to our final destination, we stopped for delicious Vietnamese coffee and lunch at a place with a gorgeous view of the lagoon and mountains. Highly recommend this method of transportation to… Read more »

We had considered a package tour from Hoi An to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park but decided to make our own way instead and I’m so glad we did! Our driver, Thomas was enthusiastic, knowledgable, and incredibly helpful at every turn — taking photos (he used to be a photographer!), recommending places for coffee and delicious local meals, and helping us understand the different sights we saw along the way. We had some specific stops in mind, but Thomas’ suggestions really made the trip. He picked us up in Hoi An and drove us to Hue on the first day… Read more »

Took a private car from Hoi An to Hue. There were three of us in a spacious SUV, and we got cheaper quotes than our hotel gave us. Our driver Thomas was awesome! He taught us a lot about the stops and Vietnam as a whole during our ride. We also just had some great conversations about life in general! He gave us as much time as we wanted with all of the stops we made (Marble Mountain, Hai Van Quan Pass, and a local fishing village stop for lunch). The views were incredible along the ride, so definitely a… Read more »

I took a fantastic tour from Hoi An to Hue via Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach. My driver was Henry who was very very helpful with all my questions. Henry had a great understanding of the English language and was easily able to answer all my questions. In Hue, Henry took me to the Citadel, Pagoda & the Tomb. Henry provided me with bottled water and took me to a 1st class restaurant where we had lunch. After the tour he drove me back to the hotel 150km from Hue to Hoi An. Henry’s knowledge of all the roads… Read more »

I can’t recommend this company enough if you need transportation between Hoi An and Hue.

We were hoping for a chilled out experience where we could sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery and great views and wasn’t disappointed.

Johnny Le our driver was excellent and very knowledgeable. He stopped off at little hotspots so we could get some great pictures and was really friendly along the way. He is a credit to your company.

Thank you Johnny for a great experience and a lovely journey.

Great option to travel between Hoi An and Hue, stopped at key places like Marble Mountain. Nick was an awesome driver, very friendly and safe with good English. It was my wife’s birthday and they even had flowers and a cake and Nick lit the candles and sang happy birthday. Highly recommend!
